Generally there are many laptops in market which are looks like very similar to each other but however its not resemble its worth because if you observe specifications in deeply you will find that design same but other features changed hence its important to know that, Here some factors which are must to see before buying laptop either in online or offline..
1) Display
It plays very crucial role in experiencing the laptop because whatever inside computations,processing happens we only see our screen only. It is output source for everything hence make sure that display must be minimum FHD+ resolution or more like 2k resolution and IPS lcd with refresh rate too important if price is more than 60k and if less than 60k FHD+ affordable with consideration of other specifications.
If you are trying to buy at more than 70k then make sure display is OLED or LED.
2)Web Camera
Another important aspect for students is web camera because it is helpful in online classes and also in many interviews boot camps other online sessions hence make sure that webcam is HD if price is less than 60,000 and webcam must Full HD if the price is 70,000 or above.
3) Processsor
it plays very key role in performance. So before purchasing lets discuss about 2 companies in processors. One is Intel and another side is AMD Ryzen. Both have very key role in market and many confuse. Right now in market Intel and Ryzen both are same. In competition there is no single difference between performance but price will be different. So Intel I5 is more price than Ryzen 5. At last if you ask me which processor we have to take then Intel is very slight better than Ryzen. Keep in mind that very slight only but in popularity Intel has very much that is why it have price to very high. And apart from that, Ryzen to very better.
Now lets discuss about the generations. Because in every year or in every few years these processor release new generations of their processors which means updated versions of the previous processors. In present market, latest generations are in Intel 13th generation is the latest and in the Ryzen 7000 series may be latest generation. So make sure that we have to take latest generation of the processor right now. I suggest take 11th generation,12th generation, 13th generation. Please do not go for 10th generation processors in Intel processors. In Ryzen make sure that the processor is 4000 series or 5000 series. It is not anymore problem while purchasing in right now.
Here again there will be one more deep information is and at end of the generation names they provide you. Like H,U,P, these letters represent some meaning even in Ryzen or Intel processors. For example, you are purchasing Intel I5 12th generation H Processor laptop. It means it is gaming laptop or powerful laptop which consumes more battery, drains very fast and simply a powerful processor of 12th generation Intel I5. Likewise there is a meaning for other letters also.
For the processors generation which ends with the letter U which means it consumes battery very less and power efficient processor. It will be helpful for multitasking and it is not much powerful than H type processors. This is very recommended to student purpose laptop who need very more backup in battery life. At finally, there is another letter P which represents that Performance is between U processor and H Processor. But battery life Average compared to both but mostly these are very rare. If you find this there is no problem and is a medium of both U and H processor.
These letters can find in both the Ryzen and Intel processors.
Which processor should we take up to right now?
I recommend Intel I3 12th generation or 13th generation, in other hand Ryzen 5 processor for student purpose. But if you are looking forward for further usage of laptop make sure that Intel I5 with the 12th generation or Ryzen 5 processor. These processors will be available within ₹50,000, but you are looking at the budget of 70,000 or 80,000 Make sure that the processor is Intel I7 11th generation or 12th generation maximum try for 12th generation processor. In Ryzen, there will be Ryzen 7 processor at ₹70,000, but in other aspects like other features also to be considered at that price.
4) Design
Another major important thing is design. If you are purchasing student laptop, it must be looks very shiny, attractive, more comfortable with audience and with you too.
Because audience always look at your computer or laptop also than other things. So make sure that Laptop comes with very shiny design, classic design with a good build quality you may expect plastic build quality at below ₹50,000 and if you are at budget above ₹70,000 or ₹60,000 if there is possibility of metal build quality also.
5)Battery + Fast Charging
Battery is very important in laptop because if you want to work with your laptop for long time you have to make sure that battery is more capacity and support fast charging. Especially for students they work even in late nights and suddenly there might be power cuts also at that time you will not face any problems with your laptop. So make sure that your laptop contains minimum of 50 Watt hour battery if you are purchasing below ₹50,000 And if you are purchasing laptop above ₹70,000 you may expect 75 Watt hour battery and Regarding fast charging technology, 65 watts or 100 watts will be available if you are purchasing below ₹60,000 It is acceptable and if you are purchasing laptop above 70 or ₹80,000 and 200 watts also available in in some laptops. So make sure that as possible more fast charging technology means you can charge fully even in one hour also.
6)Weight
Okay, you all know, finished with aspects of whatever you want but you forgot about weight of the laptop. So keep in mind that your laptop must be less in weight if you are choosing laptop for student purpose only, because it is also plays a key role while travelling or while coding or programming. So make sure less than 1.5 kg or 1.7 kg.
7)CPU Fans
This is optional for only who are trying to purchase laptop above ₹70,000. But for the people who are purchasing below ₹60,000 it will be skippable because the CPU fans which are come under ₹60,000 laptops only single CPU fan. But if you are purchasing laptops above ₹70,000 ₹80,000 you must expect 2 CPU fans in your laptop. This is because more CPU fans means processor will be cooled and very fastly with the latest technology we can observe in all CPU fan cooling technology.
8)Graphics
actually this have to include in processor but I skipped there because it is also optional for some students who are not even go through for graphics or anything designing or gamingr. But make sure that your laptop has integrated graphics atleast if you are purchasing below ₹60,000.
But if you are purchasing laptop above 70000 or ₹80,000 make sure the laptop contains minimum 4 GB graphic cards of GTX 1350 or 3050. This will help you while editing or graphic designing or any graphics related works which reduce the pressure on CPU
9)Service Centers & Warranty
This is another aspect while we are purchasing laptop make sure that company service center is nearby you. If you are purchasing laptop for the first time, you may try with a different options. It causes several problems too at very rare situations at that time service centre nearby your location help you in solve the problem and also make sure warranty is more than one year maximum brand provide one year and try to extend it by paying some more amount to extend it. In official websites like HP, Lenovo they provide you additional warranty by paying ₹3000 Extra amount.
10)Features
Make sure that laptop contains fingerprint sensor, web cam privacy shutte, backlit keyboard, noise cancellation mic system, dolby audio,microsoft 365 home etc latest features
